On Vacation with Jules Verne: A Summer Theatre and Puppetry Camp with Vudu Theatre at Mammolina Montessori International School

This summer, we are offering a unique experience for girls and boys in their final year of pre-school or in primary school: a camp where theatre and puppets will be the main tools for playing, creating and discovering new forms of expression.
The company Vudu Theatre, with a decade of experience in theatre and pedagogy, will guide children on a journey full of creativity, imagination, music and learning through immersive role-playing games, different puppeteering techniques, characterizations and lots of humor.
All this in an environment surrounded by nature, with the infrastructure of a Montessori school that encourages autonomy and free experimentation.
Monday-Friday 9-14h. Ages 5 to 12 - English - French - Spanish
A Weekly Schedule
Each week, children will explore a new world inspired by one of Verne's great adventures, becoming intrepid travelers, inventors and discoverers of surprising worlds:
• Week 1 (30th June to 4th July): Around the World in 80 Days – We will explore cultures and landscapes through theatre and puppets.
• Week 2 (7th July - 11th of July): Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea – Dive into the ocean and bring fantastic sea creatures to life.
• Week 3 (14th of July - 18th of July): Journey to the Center of the Earth – Venture into an underground world full of surprises.
• Possibility of a fourth week (July 21st-25th) if there is demand.
Camp Details
• Times: 9am to 2pm.
• Dates: You can choose one or more weeks.
• Ages: Preschool (born from 2019 onwards) and Primary.
• Minimum: 10 children per week.
• Price: €130/week, €30/day (10% discount for students enrolled in Mammolina Montessori).
Daily:
Welcome aboard (story/chapter presentation) and circle time.
• Immersive role-playing game, water games.
• Lunch break.
• Puppetry workshops (construction and manipulation of different techniques).
• Rest time, reading, storytelling, board games.
• Dramatized closing of the adventure, songs and farewell.
